Danny Abdul Dayem

Danny Abdul Dayem is a British citizen of Syrian descent who came to prominence during the Syrian Uprising. He became a citizen-journalist who reported from Homs, Syria between 2011-2012, most notably during its siege by government forces, particularly the 2012 Bombardment of Homs. His news reports and pleas for help went viral and were picked up by major news channels including CNN, BBC, Al Jazeera, and al-Arabiya.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.cnn.com/search/?query=danny+abdul+dayem&x=0&y=0&primaryType=mixed&sortBy=date&intl=false )〕〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Interview: Danny Abdul Dayem from Homs )〕〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-14831387 )〕 Danny reportedly caused controversy when he stated "we will take help from anyone, Israel, we don't care." He also caused controversy when a video was leaked that apparently showed that some of his reporting was staged.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Scandal Danny the Zionist CNN Reporter from Homs 01-03-2012 )〕 He has publicly called for an "army intervention, a strike on Assad's regime and a no-fly zone".〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.pbs.org/newshour/bb/world/jan-june12/syria2_03-08.html )
